Each glass features on the front the logo of the brand brewed beer Hinano Tahiti. The logo represents a Vahine with the inscription : Hinano Tahiti.

The flat glass is slender with thin walls and narrow neck to prevent the foam from overflowing. It will highlight the golden lagers.

With a cardboard Packaging, this pack of 3 glasses will be offered to all lovers of tegestophilie (collection of objects relating to the beer) and more broadly to all those who appreciate beer or are seeking for a souvenir from Tahiti.

The Hinano vahine

Vahine (pronounced vahiné) means woman or wife in Tahitian language.

Since 1955 this vahine is the is the logo of the famous brand mark of the local beer Hinano. It was created by a suedish painter called Pierre HEYMAN who painted the first drawing in 1953. The logo is engraved on the bottles until 1957 when the first ticket appear, for the pleasure of consumers and tourists who collect them. Since, the Hinano ticket changed a lot.

The mythical hinano vahine became the symbol of Tahiti and her islands. She is sitting cross-legged, wearing a red sarong (Pareo) with local colors, a flower of hibiscus as an ear jewel and a crown of tiare flowers in her long hair.

Hinano Beer

The Hinano beer can is very popular in Tahiti and her islands, and it's brewed by Brasserie de Tahiti since 1955. It's a deluxe lager beer, low fermentation, golden colour, draught to 5% alcohol with pronounced bitterness.

It was rewarded by international awards : Gold medal in Luxembourg - Brussels.

Sales in France

Products derived from the Hinano brand are prohibited for sale in metropolitan France due to the Loi Evin relating to the fight against alcoholism. To order them, it will be necessary to choose another country of delivery.
